Tips & Tricks
for coping with incontinence

Learning the best ways to manage my incontinence wasn't easy and it didn't seem like the doctors were very much help. Most of what I discovered I learned through trial and error and chatting with other patients in doctor's waiting rooms and incontinent people I met online.

Send us your idea for Tips & Tricks. If we publish it we'll send you a $5 gift certificate good towards your next order at AdultClothDiaper.com. Please see Submission Rules and Guidelines below for complete details.

I am incontinent but I also have parasthesis (loss of sensation and motor skills in the hands, which makes it nearly impossible for me to tape or pin a diaper on myself. I pin cloth diapers and tape disposables on a table top and then pull them on and off like underwear. The Secure plus diapers the sell here have numbers printed on the waist that make it really easy. I get an even better fit this way that I used to taping them on while lying down.

Thanks to Violette K of New Hope, PA for this helpful tip.

I travel a lot. I prefer cloth diapers and use them at home but when I away I use disposables. It's not practical lugging a weeks worth of diapers to the airport. I have them shipped to my hotel in advance and they are waiting for me when I get there.

Thanks to Chris Y of Seattle, WA for this helpful tip.

Editor's Note: AdultClothDiaper drop ships packages to hotels all the time. There is nothing on the outside of the package to indicate the contents to the hotel staff. The order is discreetly shipped in your name and the hotel leaves the package in storage unopened until you check in and claim it.
